4. Vehicle Use and Responsibilities

As a renter, you agree to:

• Use the vehicle only for lawful purposes and in accordance with all traffic laws.
• Return the vehicle in the same condition as received, reasonable wear and tear excepted.
• Report any accidents, damage, or mechanical issues immediately to Livingston Vehicle Rental Services.
• Not allow unauthorized drivers to operate the vehicle.
• Be responsible for all fines, penalties, and charges incurred during the rental period (e.g., parking tickets, speeding fines).

5. Insurance and Liability

All our rentals include basic insurance coverage. Details of the coverage, including excesses and exclusions, will be provided at the time of booking. You are responsible for any damage to the vehicle or third-party property that is not covered by the insurance policy or exceeds the insurance excess. Additional insurance options may be available for purchase.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation policies vary depending on the type of booking and notice period. Please refer to your booking confirmation for specific cancellation terms. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed according to our refund policy.

7. Termination of Service

We reserve the right to terminate your rental agreement and repossess the vehicle if you breach any of these Terms of Service, or if we believe the vehicle is being used unlawfully or unsafely.

8. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
